Tooele County is a large, rural county west of the Salt Lake Valley, extending all the way to the Nevada border.  As I discussed in a blog post, Tooele County seems to have a particularly aggressive drug interdiction task force, so the court sees lots of drug related cases: Possession of Marijuana, Possession with intent to Distribute, Paraphernalia, Metabolite DUI, etc., along with the typical misdemeanors like DUI, Minor in Possession and Assault.

Tooele County Justice Court covers all the misdemeanor Bs and below that take place within Tooele County, but not within a town with its own justice court (like Grantsville).  Here’s the contact information:

Grantsville City Justice Court covers all the misdemeanor Bs and below that take place within Grantsville City Limits.  It is at:

Tooele County District Court handles all the Misdemeanor A and felony cases that happen within Tooele County.  It is located in the same building as the Tooele County Justice Court, above.
