PARK CITY MARIJUANA DEFENSE

Ok, we do other things besides defend marijuana crimes at our firm, but that’s the main reason we opened this satellite office in Summit County, Utah. As I wrote about in a blog post, this area of I-80, near Park City, is a prime pinch-point for the Utah Highway Patrol to stop out-of-state vehicles and make marijuana busts, so we handle lots of cases in the nearby Courts: Third District Court – Silver Summit (for Class A Misdemeanor charges and Felony charges like Possession with Intent to Distribute) and Summit County Justice Court (for Class B Misdemeanor charges like Simple Possession or Drug Paraphernalia). This little office gives us a convenient place nearby to meet our clients and prepare for hearings. But you should know that our Summit County Office is a satellite office of the main Salt Lake City Office of Smoland Law. It’s a smaller set-up, and there’s no receptionist at the front. So it’s probably best to make an appointment if you’re thinking of stopping by so that we will definitely be there to meet you.
